Pacha
The Pacha chain of nightclubs is world renowned. Starting in Ibiza they have spread to Germany and as far as China. They are known as banging nightclubs with an exclusive VIP feel to them and this reputation has carried on to their newest addition in Barcelona at the Port Olympic. It has kept its all white Ibiza vibe for this club and even walking through the entrance way and down the stairs you feel like you are walking into one of the most exclusive clubbing experiences Barcelona has to offer.
In keeping with the VIP feel the club is renowned for the VIP sections are some of the most spacious you will find in Barcelona. Long white leather seats sit on both sides of the dance floor, both directly in front and behind the DJ so if you have never partied in a VIP area directly behind one of your favourite DJs now is your chance! Bottle service at Pacha starts at 350 euros for bottles of the finest vodka, whiskeys and rum so split this among a group of friends and it is actually cheaper than buying a few drinks at the bar.
The atmosphere on the dance floor is always absolutely lit and this is because of the crispest and most modern sound systems in Barcelona. Add to this the big name DJs and acts who come and play at the club every summer. Past acts include Pendulum, Chase n Status and Steve Aoki. The off Sonar parties in the middle of June are absolutely packed so make sure you book your tickets in advance. This year the likes of SKREAM, Joris Voorn and Andrea Oliva will be headlining the plethora of DJs and acts that will entertaining the biggest party week of the summer.
When you want to chill out for a bit you can head to the outside section on the beach front where there is plenty of seating to relax for a bit, have a socialize and a smoke then head back into the party. Like all the Port Olimpic clubs the doors open at midnight but do not bothering going anytime before 1.30am. The club doesn’t really start to get busy until after 2am then you have 4 hours of hard core partying until the lights come on at 6am and it is time to either jump in a cab home or head onto the beach and watch the sunrise.
Of the selection of clubs you have in the city Pacha is the one to pick if you want to have a proper super club experience mixed with an air of exclusivity that you will not find in the clubs in the city centre. The fact that are right on the beach front as well allowing you the option of heading outside to chill out with the cool sea air Pacha is certainly not a night you want to miss whilst coming to Barcelona. Thousands of people party in this club every night of the week so make sure you are one of them at some point during your stay!
